New No Game No Life: Zero Movie Visual & Ticket Bonuses Revealed


The official website of the anime adaptation of Yuu Kamiya’s No Game No Life light novel has revealed a brand new visual for the upcoming anime film, No Game No Life: Zero. In addition, pre-order incentives for advanced tickets were announced.

Advanced tickets for the film are currently on sale. Various cinema chains and retailers are offering bonuses if you pre-order from their locations. So far the bonuses include:

Animate and Gamers are offering one of two A3 sized posters for the advanced ticket bundle, for ¥2,040 (~ US$18.30)

  • Riku, Shuvi and Corone Poster


    • Sora, Shiro, and Steph Poster


  • Digican are offering two types of canvas art as incentives for advance ticket orders, each of which are available in F3 and F10 sizes
    • A F3 sized art for ¥11,200 (~ US$100.60)


    • A F10 sized art for ¥17,700 (~ US$159.00)



  • Lawson stores around Japan are offering a ticket bundle with an A3 sized tapestry


The main cast of No Game No Life: Zero consists of:

  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sora in No Game No Life) will star as Riku Dola



  • Ai Kayano (Shiro in No Game No Life) voices Shuvi Dola



  • Yoko Hikasa (Stephanie Dola from No Game No Life) is voicing Corone Dola



  • Yukari Tamura (Nui Harime in Kill la Kill) will return to voice Jibril



  • Yuka Iguchi (Mako Reizei in Girls und Panzer) as Nonna Zell



  • Mamiko Noto (Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad) voicing the role of Shinku Nilvalen


No Game No Life: Zero will be releasing in Japan this Summer on July 15. The film will be adapting volume 6 from the light novel which follows Riku and Shuvi. The 6th volume is set before the events of the main light novels and anime series. The 2014 anime itself adapted volumes 1 through 3.

The production staff from the 2014 TV anime will return to produce No Game No Life: Zero. However a new staff member will be doing the film’s character designs, taking over Koji Odate. The film’s staff includes:

  • Series Composer: Jukki Hanada (Love Live! School Idol Project, Steins;Gate)
  • Anime Character Designer: Satoshi Tasaki (Rideback, Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge)

  • Music Composer: Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Love Live! School Idol Project, Akuma no Riddle)
  • Sound Director: Jin Aketagawa (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso)
  • Animation Studio: Madhouse (One-Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter)
