And it is now official, the worldwide release of the Nintendo Switch is set for March 3, 2017. It will cost 29,980 yen, or  $299.99, and while no European price has been released, although we can estimate a cost of 299.99 in UK pounds.

The Switch will have a battery life varying between 2hrs 30mins and 6hrs, depending on the game played, as well as an online service that will be free on release, and paid starting Fall 2017. There were also mentions of cross features between the Nintendo Switch and Smartphones, although not much information has been released about that.
